Cocopeat is a natural growing medium made from coconut husk — a byproduct of the coconut industry. It's biodegradable, renewable, and used as a soil amendment or growing medium in agriculture and horticulture.

Our Cocopeat Sack is used for direct potting and home gardening. Our Cocopeat Pallet is used in freight, export and supply-chain logistics as a wood-free alternative to timber pallets.

They're very different products. The Cocopeat Sack is loose, uncompressed cocopeat, ready to use straight from the bag for growing. The Cocopeat Pallet is a rigid, molded pallet made from upcycled agricultural waste, used to replace timber pallets in shipping and logistics.

In our own testing, shown above, the Cocopeat Pallet held up to repeated impact by hand alongside a plastic pallet and a timber pallet — both of which were damaged. It's also exempt from ISPM 15 fumigation treatment, since it isn't made of wood.
